Terms of service

Shipping & Delivery

Provided everything goes smoothly, King Watch Buyers will pay for round-trip shipping between our office in New York City and anywhere in the world. We will also insure your watch for its full retail price, so you’re 100-percent covered for any loss or damage by the courier. If we are unable to purchase your watch for any reason, it will be shipped right back to you. In any case, you are entitled to a free watch appraisal.

The only reason you might be charged is if the watch we receive is clearly not in the condition described on the watch appraisal form, meaning it is more worn than described, or even damaged. In this case, you will be charged when the King Watch Buyers ship the watch back to you.

If an item shipped by us is refused upon delivery, is undeliverable because the address provided to us is incorrect, or a courier pick-up appointment is missed, then the customer is fully responsible for the shipping charges, and any additional charges for reshipping the item.

If your package is lost by the courier, then the courier must investigate before any insurance claims can be filed. Refunds for lost items will not be given any sooner than the conclusion of that investigation.

Once the King Watch Buyers have made an offer to purchase your watch, and you have accepted the offer, we will send you a shipping label, and a contract outlining the terms of our work together. You will be required to sign the contract, and either video-record or photograph (with at least eight photos) the process of packing your watch to be shipped to us. For insurance purposes, the video or photos must clearly show the condition in which the watch was shipped to us.

You must also include a photocopy of government-issued photo identification (e.g. your driver’s license or passport). Please include this and the signed contract in the same package as the watch, and ship the package to us using the shipping labels we have sent you. Then, you’ll get your watch appraisal.

Trade-In Policy

If you're thinking about buying a new watch, and you already have one that’s in terrific condition at home, let us put you in touch with our partners at 300watches. They trade and sell watches, antiques — just about everything. You might be able to trade in that old watch for a new one!

Please keep in mind that 300watches is unable to promise accepting any trade-in without first having the watch inspected by one of its service centers. Each potential trade-in will be handled on a case-by-case basis. But these guys know how to sell watches!

If a watch is damaged to the point where it must be repaired before it is resold, 300watches will not accept it as a trade-in. Examples of this would be a crack or scratch in the crystal, a major dent in the case, engravings, damage to the bracelet, or any kind of damage to the movement.

Please contact 300watches at (877) 842-5760, or visit the trade-in page if you would like to discuss trading in your watch.

Payment

Once we complete the watch appraisal and make you an offer, it's up to you to accept our offer. Once the offer is approved, King Watch Buyers will be sending payment either by PayPal, check, or bank wire. It should arrive within 5 business days of your approval of our offer.

Payment will only be made to the name and address from which your package was originally sent.

CLIENT FEEDBACK

An Honest Watch Appraisal

I brought four watches with me when I visited King Watch Buyers today. I no longer wear them, and I was curious to see what they might be worth. I had four Frederique Constant watches, and a David Yurman watch.

Ilya, the owner of King Watch Buyers, was very honest with me. He said that, while he wanted to help me, he thought that we would see very little return on any of these pieces. He said that these brands don’t hold value the way some of the more famous brands do, and suggested I hold on to the watches. Since I’ve dealt with King Watch Buyers in the past, I took his word for it.

I may put them on eBay and see what happens, or just hold on to them. I was hoping to make a sale, but in the end, I appreciated getting an honest watch appraisal.
